Abstract: Singapore is a country which pays much attention to values education.The contents of Singaporean common values education are "state and community first,family and society fundamendal,social concern and respect for individual,consultation consensus and avoiding conflicts,racial harmony and religious tolerance." The approach of Singaporean common values education is school education,family education,social education and social management.School education is the main channel;family education is the important base;social education is an important way and social management is an effective supplement to the common values education.What enlightens us is that we should pay attention to socialist core value system education,strengthen education materials and curriculum development of the socialist core value system and enhance family education and social education of socialist core value system.
