Abstract: Being an outstanding writer in the history of American literature,Earnest Hemingway occupied the honorable position as a brilliant story-teller with his unique language style.His short story Hills like White Elephant is a great example in which the famous "Hemingway Style" including the objective narrative skills,the vivid,simple but graceful and meaningful language styles are fully embodied.In this essay, some analyses are provided in four respects to illustrate the basic features of Hemingway's extraordinary writing skills.
