Abstract: Interpreting test functions as an important means to assess students'interpreting competence and to obtain feedback on teaching effects.The paper makes an analysis of the problems with the current system of interpreting test.In the light of the theory of communicative testing,it attempts to make a series of proposals for designing and implementing a more standardized interpreting test,covering such aspects as the testing principles,the testing content,the testing structure,and standard for evaluation.
