On the Strategy of Translation of English New Words in the Age of Globalization

  • 摘要: 本文从全球化时代新词新语对汉语的冲击入手,提出语言是一个动态系统,语言吐故纳新的途径就是引进新词语。着重阐述了引进新词语的翻译的策略,并对汉语引进英语新词语这一语意现象的理据和语用价值进行了分析。

     

    Abstract: It is a common way to enliven and enrich Chinese borrowing words from other languages.This essay studies the strategy of translation of English new words and chiefly deals with the theoretical grounds and the pragmatic values of English neologisms in Chinese.
