Abstract: This paper analyzes the narrative structure of Si Mqian based on the Feudal Houses and Eminent Persons in Jin,disclosing the fact that the criterion of choosing the material in practice was Six Confucius classics,by which he judged sources,such as Chunqiu, Zuozhuan and other books.By this way,he presented to us the real criterion of the choosing the material about history,that was the autonomy of the historian's ideas of history which was the final criterion in choosing the material for the construction of historical narrative.
