Abstract: The U.S.is in the dominant position in unipolar world after the cold war.To maintain the supremacy,U.S.administration has been adjusting the strategic disposition and building the ballistic missile defense system.This paper demonstrates that the ballistic missile defense plan is the important part of U.S.global hegemony strategy,and analyzes the future of this plan by referring to the structural realism.
