Abstract: Methodology is fundamental to the deep research and summarization of the socialist core values with Chinese characteristics.There are four dimensions from the perspective of methodology,that is,scientific description of the gist of socialist values,active inheritance of the common achievements and values of human civilization,drawing lessons from the global socialist practice on the basis of the most widely acknowledged values among Chinese people and an overall presentation of the quintessence of the core values of Chinese nation.
