Abstract: The social support for the poor college students is an important supplement to the existing funding system.On the basis of the field of survey data,the authors suggest that a range of issues hamper the effective work of the current social support.Therefore,universities should effectively change the ideas,perfect the system to reform the model for education,which will play an increasing role in integrating a variety of financing resources,improving the existing subsidy system and meeting the multi-level needs of the poor college students.
