Abstract: In order to understand the network language better,the paper analyzes the reasons why the network language is popular by showing its memefeatures concision,vitality,oddness and humour and based on the Incongruity Resolution Model,illustrates the essence of the humorous meme features of the network language by specifying the two types of meme-genotype and phenotype.
