Abstract: The recreational zone is a kind of comprehensive resort.In Japan, it is a project of national land development implemented by the Japanese government in order to meet the expansion of domestic demand.The construction of those recreational zones is to develop the recreational industry, promote the local economic development and narrow the gap between regions.However, they failed to achieve those goals mentioned above under the impact of the bursting of bubble economy although Japanese government provided a lot of policy-related supports in some respects like legislation, finance and tax.China is supposed to make some serious analysis on the construction and management of some recreational zones by learning some lesson from Japanese government.
