Abstract: The cultural form of Chinese modernization is a new type of cultural form rooted in the Chinese land and promoting the modern transformation of Chinese culture, which is deeply imbued with the profound implications of historical materialism. In terms of its emergence, this cultural form adheres to the principle of subjectivity, breaking free from the constraints of traditional metaphysics and abstract universality, thereby providing a diachronic continuation to historical materialism. Regarding its essential attributes, it upholds and achieves the unity of theory and practice, historicity and contemporaneity, as well as universality and particularity, responding to the new characteristics of human civilization through the synchronic expansion of historical materialism. In terms of its value and significance, the cultural form of Chinese modernization enriches the narrative of socialist civilization, transcends the historical limitations of capitalist civilization, and promotes the collective development of world civilizations, showcasing profound cultural confidence and cultural subjectivity.
