Abstract: During the New Policy period of the Late Qing Dynasty, the governor of Jiangxi carried out a series of changes to the military administration of Jiangxi. They set up special military institutions, reformed the old army with the new military system, and on this basis, organized and trained the new army. At the same time, the governor of Jiangxi initially established the military education system of Jiangxi and promoted the development of military industry in Jiangxi. These measures have played an important role in the transformation of Jiangxi military system, the construction of Jiangxi army and the development of military industry, and effectively promoted the modernization of Jiangxi military and government. This process also laid the groundwork for the success of Xinhai Revolution in Jiangxi.
