Abstract: A correct understanding of the theme of the times is a fundamental condition for our Party to define the historical position of the women’s movement and continuously promote its development. In various historical periods of revolution, construction, and reform, the theme of the times has gone through transformations, shifting from national independence, people’s liberation, the consolidation and construction of socialism to the pursuit of national rejuvenation. Over the past century, the Communist Party of China has always closely centered around the theme of the times, integrating the women’s movement with the Party’s central tasks, and continuously advancing the liberation and development of Chinese women. In the new era and on the new journey, the women’s movement in China should focus on the theme of the times, which is “realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation”. It should unswervingly follow the path of women’s development under socialism with Chinese characteristics, continuously promote women’s liberation and development, and write a new chapter in the sinicization and modernization of the Marxist view of women.
