Abstract: ln recent years, poverty reduction and the implementation of targeted poverty alleviation policies, have brought vitality and strength to rural China. It promoted the modernization process of Chinese villages, and enriched the themes of contemporary Chinese rural literature. He Xiangyong’s “Triology of Times”(Yan Yan Yu fei, Village Warm Blossoms and Children of the Land) is one of the representative works. The writer recorded all aspects of poverty alleviation work with real and delicate brushstrokes, and also exposed some of the problems. He revolutionized the rural narrative context and created a group of “new person” image in the new era. The “Triology of Times” provides experience and paradigms for how to tell poverty alleviation stories, rural stories and Chinese stories in current local novels.
