Abstract: Everyone should become their own writer and become a writer. It is a necessity of life and the best way to understand oneself and complete oneself through internal transcendence. Similarly, it is the inherent way of existence of modern people. The “little writing” of “little people” in “little history” is writing for life, not for living. The writing subject of “small writing” is the individual. The narrative method is line drawing. The content is small history. The genre is formal literary style, and the writing characteristics are reflected in individuality and authenticity. Its ideological foundation is existentialist psychology. First of all, “small writing” is a kind of life activity, which does not deliberately pursue literary value. It refuses fragmentation daily life. The spiritual pursuit of “small writing” is to realize the individual existence and transcendence. This article aims to propose and explain a writing theory of “small writing”.
