Abstract: Culture can play an important role in the development of civilization only as a conceptual form and as a spirit. The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the report of the 20th CPC National Congress inspire us to interpret the new form of human civilization from the perspective of Chinese culture and Chinese spirit, and reveal the essential relationship between Chinese culture, Chinese spirit and the new form of human civilization. As far as Chinese culture is concerned, the new form of human civilization is the latest development of Chinese culture in the new era, which embodies the unity of the particularity of the development of Chinese civilization and the universality of the development of human civilization, creating a new era for the development of Chinese civilization and human civilization. As far as the Chinese spirit is concerned, the new form of human civilization is the spiritual condensation and symbol of the times of the Chinese spirit, Chinese values and Chinese strength, which highlights the charm and moral character of the Chinese nation and promotes the Chinese spirit to a new height, a new level and a new realm. The process of creating a new form of human civilization is the process of understanding, inheriting and developing the Chinese culture and spirit, and the process of gradually forming cultural consciousness in the practice of the “two combinations” of the Chinese nation. The new form of human civilization, rooted in the profound fertile soil of Chinese culture and Chinese spirit, is fundamentally different from the western capitalist civilization. It answers the major question of where human civilization is going with the China plan of a community with a shared future for mankind, and contributes China’s strength to solving the problem of the modernization and development of human civilization.
