Abstract: As an important historical and cultural heritage in China, red cultural relics play a vital role in promoting the sustainable development of social culture and economy in the new era. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with President Xi Jinping at the core has attached great importance to the protection of red cultural relics and has successively issued a series of related policies, which have pointed out a new direction for the protection of red cultural sites. The inheritance of red cultural genes will further enhance the national pride and cultural self-confidence of our people. As an important red cultural gathering place in Anhui, the southern Anhui area has many resources of red cultural relics. By exploring the role and significance of the construction of red cultural relics, and combining with the current situation of the construction of red cultural relics in southern Anhui, effective solutions are proposed with innovative design methods to strengthen the protection and construction of red cultural relics in southern Anhui, which could further promote the protection process of red cultural relics in China.
