Abstract: The activities of the Chang Renxia’s poetry society mainly focused on the 1930s and 1940s. He initiated the “Saturn Pen Association” in Nanjing, edited and published Shifan, and marked “Neoclassicism”. He established “Poetry Front Society” and Poetry Front in Changsha and promoted the unity of poetry content and form. He established “China Poetry Art Club” and China Poetry Art in Chongqing, and advocated the creation of poetry “each has its own face”. He established “Lily Poetry Club” and Fenglin literature and art in Kunming, and pay attention to the balance of poetry content and form. In Nanjing, he participated in “Poetry spark club” and Poetry spark poetry magazine, continued and expanded the modernist poetic style. His poetry concept enriches the artistic expression of modern Chinese poetry. His exploration of the modernity of new poetry has played a guiding and enlightening role in the future development of the modernist poetry. His activities in the poetry society and poetry periodicals have enriched the database of the History of modern literature and also accumulated the original materials for the in-depth understanding of the historical situation of modern Chinese poetics.
