Abstract: Yi Lin has rich literary value and has been excavated since the Tang Dynasty. In the Song Dynasty, Huang Bosi, Chen Zhensun, Yang Shen, Zhong Xing of Ming Dynasty, and even the modern scholars Wen Yiduo, Qian Zhongshu and so on expanded their literary value unceasingly. Yi Lin has a great influence on the later literature, which is embodied in the following aspects: the later literati’s use of Yi Lin; the later literati’s use of Yi Lin to annotate poetry; the later poets’ imitation of Yi Lin; the later novels, couplets and other popular literature influenced by Yi Lin; and the later Literary color of works about Yi was deeply influenced by Yi Lin. The study of the literary value of Yi Lin and its influence on the literature of later generations is helpful to broaden the field of literature research in the pre-Qin and Han dynasties, enrich the research methods, and thus contribute to the emergence of new research results.
