Abstract: The analytical perspective of “display” provides a way to understand “display” behavior and phenomenon. To investigate public service from the perspective of “display”, the display of public service can be analyzed from the dimensions of image, activity and space. The study found that behind the public service display behavior, it actually contains the expression of symbols such as the construction of social public welfare concept, the shaping of professional service image, the appeal of organizational legitimacy and the tendency of resource acquisition. In the development process of public service, it is necessary to convey certain demands by means of “display” behavior, but in this process, it is necessary to clarify the purpose of display, pay attention to the interactive process, and grasp the limit of display to effectively promote the development of public service.
