Abstract: The combination of the party’s self-supervision and mass supervision is the distinctive feature of socialist power supervision with Chinese characteristics. From the perspective of coupling, before the reform and opening up, the two showed five types: recession of serious imbalance, recession on the verge of imbalance, development of serious imbalance, barely coordinated development and primary coordinated development. Therefore, in the process of improving the power supervision of socialism with Chinese characteristics, especially in the process of promoting the two to move towards high-quality and coordinated development, while preventing the thought of“left”and privilege, we should always grasp that the two are an active supervision relationship combining top-down and bottom-up.
