Abstract: Since the reform and opening-up, an obvious tendency of the domestic researches on column of New Youth focuses on its “communication”, “women’s issues”, “random recordings”, “domestic (foreign) memorabilia”, “revolutionary journals”, “readers forums”, “poems”, etc. An academic review of these researches could provide a vision of continuous and in-depth discussion for future study, and also provide a reference for a more objective and comprehensive study after New Youth’s centenary birthday.
