Abstract: From the early stage of exploration to the final formation, the Marxist community thought has gone through a process from immaturity to finally following the historical materialism, which is an important content of the historical materialism. According to the development and changes of social forms and social production methods, it reveals the development law of human society from “natural community” to “illusory community” and finally ushered in “true community”, which enables human beings to gain the path of liberation and freedom in the true sense. Therefore, General Secretary Xi Jinping took this as the theoretical cornerstone, inherited the philosophical basis, practical forms, and analytical methods of Marx’s community thought, and combined with the specific requirements of the current era, developed the ways to realize the Marx’s community thought, the way of cooperation, the areas covered, and so on. Finally, General Secretary Xi Jingping put forward the idea of “a community with a shared future for mankind”. The idea of a community with a shared future for mankind, as the continuation and deepening of the idea of Marx’s community, has demonstrated Chinese wisdom to the people of the world. It is an important civilization achievement of mankind and is conducive to the further advancement of the liberation of mankind.
