Abstract: It is of theoretical value and practical significance to analyze and explain the important proposition of “never forget the mind and remember the mission”. Since the Eighteenth Party Congress, Xi Jinping has expounded the concept of “mind” and “mission” many times. In the reports of the 19th National Congress of the Party, he formally put forward the important expression of “never forget the mind and remember the mission”. From the perspective of the study of the history of thought, Xi Jinping’s important expression of “never forget the mind and remember the mission” has gone through the process of forming a logical concept, explaining the dialectical logic relationship between “mind” and “mission”. The logical significance of his important exposition of “never forget the mind and remember the mission” has been mainly reflected in the extension of Marxist classical writers’ thoughts of “mind” and “mission” and the interpretation of the new cognitive perspective of the historical research of the Communist Party of China.
