Abstract: In order to train the postgraduate of materials with aviation characteristics, they are sent to the aviation research institutes with binary-supervisor systems, the cooperative training mode which was explored and practiced with many years. The results are shown the postgraduates have obvious aviation characteristics by the cooperative training. Firstly, the cooperative training has the advantages of complementary advantages and resource sharing, has also significantly improved the employability (competitiveness) in aircraft industry of the postgraduate of the non-key universtiy. Secondly, the scientific research strength of the aviation research department is the guarantee to improve the training quality of the postgraduates with aviation characteristics. Lastly, the postgraduates of the cooperative training have obvious aviation characteristics, they are approved by the employer with their adaptability, obtain better development with their sustainable ability. Hence, exploration and practice prove the mode of the cooperative training postgraduate with the aviation research department is a successful training mode.
