Abstract: Colleges and university as an important base for personnel training, how to carry out national reading and create a strong reading atmosphere can’t be underestimated. By analyzing the current situation of reading promotion in university libraries and the case of reading promotion in Nanchang Hangkong University Library, this paper puts forward some new countermeasures for carrying out reading promotion activities in university libraries from the aspects of new students’education, the linkage of the whole school, and the setting of elective courses.
