Abstract: The book about Liu Xiang' Shuo Yuan recorded the article of Yue Renge, there has been a lot of keynote of Yue Renge, there are many arguments about its subject. The male wind phenomenon of the pre-qin, the male aesthetic of Chu, and a short,helpless life of Zi Xi, maybe the article thins that the Yue Renge is a song about "love and despair". The boatman was admiring and loving Zi Xi, but Zi Xi shoud be desperate for the last thing in his life. The descendants pity his death and his beauty, so the song was sung, the story has been told to this day.
