Abstract: In the era of competitive knowledge economy, the changes in intellectual capital and external economic environment play a vital role in the development of enterprises. The research, based on the survey data of enterprises in industrial parks in Jiangxi province, with hierarchical adjustable regression analysis method applied, explores the influence of economic environment in the process of intellectual capital to improve business performance. The research shows that all factors of intellectual capital have conspicuous positive influence on enterprise performance. Economic environment only plays a role in adjusting the relationship between intellectual capital and enterprise performance. The economic environment adjusts the relationship between the relational capital and enterprise performance positively and adjusts the relationship between capital structure and corporate performance reversely. Research innovation is that through field research and application of questionnaire survey data of industrial parks in Jiangxi Province, it is of practical significance to explore the relationship between the various elements of intellectual capital and corporate performance under the adjustment of the external economic environment.
