Abstract: Sun Shaoping,a striver who has made profound influence to contemporary young youth in The Ordinary World. Lu Yao depicted an image of an explorer conquering sufferings vividly,especially his unique charm of personality.From the theory of Freud's tripartite model of the mind,his id,ego and superego,each of them is the crucial fact in his striving process. In his striving process,the desire of id became the original power,the real balance of ego became the practial action,the moralization and idealization of superego interpreted the significance of it.The blending of all these three constituted a three-dismensional,persevering and gritty striver.
