Abstract: Based on the analysis of the current situations of translation pedagogy in domestic universities, as well as a survey of the MTI programme in Jiangxi province,the paper elaborates the problems with the translation teaching. Attempt has been made to explore a new model for the training of practical translation personnel, aiming at putting forward some innovative approaches, methods and ideas.
