Abstract: In 17th century, the Europe was in a era of great changes, the introduction of printing has made the journalism industry develop rapidly. In the UK, News-book and pamphlet for the political propaganda played a important role in political activities. When English civil broke out, the News-book has soon become an important media for propaganda. Different News-books stood different political powers and used different propaganda techniques, so their propaganda effects were also different. In the background of political communication becoming an important branch of modern political science, the study of early political propaganda still has important practical significance.
