Abstract: The initial, final and tone of Xingguo dialect have an impact on the timbre and melody of Xingguo folk songs, it formed the features of Xingguo folk songs marked by loud voice, word by word and less melody. The lining words and dialect characteristic words are the basic elements marked Xingguo of Xingguo folk songs, and it has not enough notes to sing a Xingguo folk song with Mandarin because of a lot of monosyllabic words of a Xingguo folk song. How to retain the basic elements of Xingguo folk songs, and popularize Xingguo folk songs and promote it to other places, that is a seriously project.
