Abstract: Fujian is an important birthplace of the Maritime Silk Road, and ASEAN is an important node in the Maritime Silk Road area. For a long time, Fujian and ASEAN countries have maintained close trade. In the context of "the Belt and Road initiative",it is of great significance for Fujian to realize leap-forward development by further tapping the opportunities for development cooperation between Fujian and ASEAN. We must make full use of the resources of the Chinese businessmen, continue to expand the absorption of foreign investment from ASEAN, make full use of complementary advantages, and carry out differentiated economic and trade cooperation with the ASEAN countries.
