Abstract: As a new comprehensive discipline, the science of human settlements has experienced five developmental stages. Its topics include perspective, tasks, methods and so on. Our science of human settlements obtained the considerable development, but it still had a lot of space to be improved because it researched too late. Around the Chinese transformational operation logic, the essay deeply studied the core tasks of our science of human settlements and need to properly handle several important relationships, in order to promote ours rapid, healthy and sustainable development.
