Abstract: Li Lie-jun, an important military strategist and politician in the early Republic of China,had a close relation with newspaper. He actively used newspapers and pressed service for military operations, political movements, internal affairs and financial reform. To summarize Li Lie-jun's news thought and practice is helpful for the newspaper reform and has a great reference value.
