Abstract: The core values of socialism with Chinese characteristics should be the core values which Chinese Communist Party has been pursuing in the past 100 years and the core ideas of designing and building socialist system with Chinese characteristics. Over the past 100 years, Chinese Communist Party has practiced three grand events, New-democratic Revolution, Socialist Revolution, and Reform and opening. Among them, the core value which New-Democratic Revolution goes after is Democracy, which socialist revolution goes after is Equality, and which reform and opening goes after is Development and Sharing. The pursuit of the four core values is throughout the Chinese Communist Party's revolution and construction practices in recent 100 years and is the four main clues of modern and contemporary Chinese history. It's also reflected in the Deng Xiaoping's scientific judgment about the essence of socialism logically. Therefore, the core values of socialism with Chinese characteristics are "Democracy", "Equality", "Development", and "Sharing".
