Chinglish in the Translation of Chinese into Engilsh by Analysing the Sematic Structures

Chinglish(English with Chinese characteritics)is a phenomenon commonly seen in the use of Enhlish by Chinese students of English.By a contrastive sampled analysis of semantic structures of in Chinese and English,this paper shows that Chinglish in C-E translation may result from inadequate understanding of semantic structure in both Chinese and English,and direct transfer of syntactic structure of Chinese.
