Modern Neoconfucianism and Post-modernism

Modern neoconfucianists explain that Confucianism can promote the development of modern society and even cure the side effect of the modern society,thus surpassing enlightenment and modernity.The key spirit of western post-modernism is deconstructionism.The modernism which it wants to deconstruct is the rationist tradition since Enlightenment,that is,modernity.Post-modernism,starting from the revision of the side effect of modernity,negates modernity.The influence caused by the surpassing of modernity by neoconfucianism and western post-modernism on China is worth noticing.Neoconfucianism and western post-modernism deviate from the realistic context of the Chinese modernization process,playing negative role in the Chinese modernity.
