Problems of and Countermeasures to the Development of Low-carbon Economy of Our Country

Chinese economic development has shown "high energy consumption, high carbon, high pollution" in terms of resource environment. Obstacles in interest, institution, technology and thought are the problems which we are faced with in our development of "low carbon" economy. To overcome these obstacles, the strategies for supporting low-carbon economic development are: incremental supply of public policyas the guarantee of supporting low-carbon economic development, reconstructing the community price system to overcome the barrier of high prices and high cost, constructing assessment index system of green GDP to measure economic development level, make clear environmental property and stipulate the rules of reward and punishment, promote green education and advocate low carbon production and consumption.
