On Gong Yang’s Thoughts and Political Practice in the Han Dynasty

Gong Yang School was the ruling theory in the Han dynasty. Gong Yang's thoughts,which were formed by expounding Spring and Autumn,were the direct theoretical grounds for the political practice in the Han dynasty. Gong Yang Scholars and other Confucians made the best use of Gong Yang's thoughts for giving advices for emperors and government,solving realistic political puzzles and persuading emperors into making political decisions.
