Eastward Spreading of Western Learning and the Evolvement of Women's Moral Concepts in Modern China

After the OpiumWar, with further introducing of the eastward spreading of Western Learning,the modern western feminist ideology, the concept of human rights and the theory of marriage were gradually introduced to China striking a chord. The modern advanced scholars contrasted women moral concepts between West and China,and put forward new women's moral concepts on the basis of deeply reflecting and reviewing on the traditional Chinese women's moral concepts. The formation and development of this new type of women's moral concepts centrally mirrored the depth and breadth,which modern advanced intellectuals reflected on the traditional gender ethics,and also clearly reflected the deepening of eastward spreading of Western Learning.
