The Compendium of Binxing Foundation in Xin Jian County of Jiang Xi Province

Binxing foundation of Xin Jian County which was set up in 25 years-Daoguang(1845)of Qing dynasty,was also known as Binxing Guan.It is a folk study-aiding and examination-aiding organization established by squires to suppport the county's Juren(former second degree candidate in the provincial examination)in participating the provincial examination and financing you-Gong and Ba-gong to Beijing for national exam.Its fund is from contributions and interest money,most of interest money is for supporting the test.It has a strict management system and specific provisions for study-aiding and examination-aiding,which did great contributions to many aspects such as financing the exam-oriented students,personnel training,revitalizing culture and education.Now it can be used as a source of reference and enlightenment for current development of education and building a harmonious society.
