Analysis of the Image Connotations of Hu-niu in Story of Luotuo Xiangzi

From the perspective of gender,Hu-niu can be categorized as a character who has a limited and spontaneous rebellion sprit to the male-centered society.Due to the implied male-centered consciousness in the novel,the tragic aesthetics of the character and the polyphony of the novel are reduced by the theme of complaint against the society that focused on Xiangzi's destruction.
