Analysis on Technology Transfer Modes of Research Institutions

Technology transfer is divided into vertical transfer mode in the broad sense and horizontal transfer mode in the narrow sense.Spread ways and diffusion mode of technology transfer in different subjects have the characteristics of mode-diversity. Four main technology transfer modes have been classified here including the modes of "Point-to-Point", "Point-to-Line", "Point-to-Platform" and "Point-to-Entity". Research institutions should take the actual situations into account to choose the suitable technology transfer mode or "mode-portfolio".
