Research Review of Chinese Rural Leaders at the Grass-roots Level(1999-2009)

In the past decade a new breakthrough has been achieved on the study of rural leaders at the grass-roots level,especially on research methods and contents.Multidiscipline research has become a crucial trend.The producing way of rural leaders is the research focus.Since the situation of rural governance has changed,the study of the role of rural leaders fails to catch up with the constant changes and the study on the leaders at the township level is not enough.
