On Zhang Peiji's Translation Philosophy from an Eco-translatological Perspective
-
Abstract
The criteria for Zhang Peiji's prose translation leads to a "harmonious unity" of the fidelity and fluency from the eco-translatological perspective,so do his translation principle and his translating practice in translational eco-systems.The choice of translating material embodies Zhang Peiji's "adaptation and selection" as a translator, and these notes following his prose translation highlight the "selection through elimination" in the translating process. Moreover, his translation perfectly displays the ecological aesthetics and his translation purpose reflects his pursuance to "doing things with translations".
