Improving the core competitive ability by innovating and enriching college culture

As a typical cultural unit,a college can promote its core competitive ability only by fully studying and innovating the college culture building.Taking Shanxi University as a study case,this paper explores the cultural tradition and basic connotation of college and puts forward five basic requirements for innovating and enriching the college culture,that is,protruding the ideological nature of the college culture and enhancing the joint effort of coordinated development;protruding the academic nature of the college culture and enhancing discipline construction strength;protruding the talents-nurturing function of the college culture and enhancing the teaching innovative ability;demonstrating the multiplicity of college culture and enhancing the vigor of opening school;protruding the harmony of the university culture and enhancing the environment-radiating potency.
