On the Epoch Nature of Marxist Theory

The epoch nature of theory is mainly manifested in three aspects. Firstly,theory has been generated from the consideration on the issues in that times; Secondly,theory can reflect the reality; Thirdly,theory has two functions of criticism and construction of the times vanguard. The value of Marxist Theory lies in three sides: its critical consciousness on contemporary problems,the general concern about the human condition and its interpretation and transformation of reality. In the social practice,Marxist Theory with Chinese characteristics is characterized by keeping a pace with time and centering on Chinese issues,which focuses on modernization in the background of globalization.
