Research into the Relativity of Self-Discrepancy, General Self-Esteem and Living Satisfaction of University Students

This paper is to investigate and research the students'psychological situation,to explore the relation between the self-discrepancy,general self-esteem and living satisfaction of university students by using the difference questionnaire between the ideal self and actual self,the status quo of general self-esteem and living satisfaction.We draw the conclusion as follows:there is a linear negative correlation between self-discrepancy and general self-esteem and living satisfaction.However,general self-esteem is positively correlated with living satisfaction.
