Luxembourg’s Understanding and Criticism of Bernstein’s Proletarian Political Party and the Strategic Principles

Luxemburg criticized Bernstein's attempt to build the Social Democratic Party into a"national"party,a"reform party with all the rich benevolent spirit"in a systematic way.She thought that Bernstein's bourgeois reformism party proposal that considered reformism as the guide and parliament struggle as the means and only focused on the movement while neglecting the purpose was not suitable for the historical condition at that time.She analyzed and expounded the ruling party's theory suitable for the proletariat political party according to the specific conditions at that time.This paper discusses Luxemburg's and Bernstein's differences and disputes in the theory of party building theory,which has the important theoretical and practical significance in strengthening the building of ruling party in the construction of our harmonious society.
